When I was a high school runner for LaSalle College High School in the early 90's and had suffered a stress fracture, Dr. Meyers diagnosed a scoliosis that caused a slight leg length discrepancy which placed more stress on the leg that I had developed my stress fracture. He fitted me with the best orthotics and I never developed a stress fracture again. That was twenty plus years ago and believe it or not I am still using those same orthotics in my running shoes.
